How To Play Golf - Change Your Game And Get Fit!

Are you putting in lots of hard work and effort to improve your handicap, but your drives are still falling short or you keep missing that Putt and you feel exhausted at the end of 18 holes?
Then you need to think differently and give your game a boost with just a few simple techiques.
1. Improve Your Flexibility
Have you ever been in the position where you felt great and rushed onto the course only to find you stiffened up the moment you started to swing your club?
What you need to do is become more limber, so warm up your muscles with a little exercise before play.  But more importantly learn to do some stretching exercises on a regular basis.  I don't mean just when you are going to play, I mean a little every day!  The more you do and the more regularly you do it, the more flexible you will become and the easier the game will also become as your body learns to adjust easier to each different shot you take.
2. Achieve Lastability
Are you tired after only a few holes? then you need to get some exercise!.  Golf is a very fit game, unless you are someone who gets out the cart at the first sign of a walk!  If not then you will have walked miles over the course of a game so you need to be fit and ready for it.  Take up some Aerobic fitness activity several times a week, which will build up your stamina.
3. Get Strong
You don't have to become like the Hulk, but it is a good idea to put some strength training into your exercise routine.  There are times when a bit brute force comes in handy, normally when you are making that long drive and want to swing as hard as possible. The problem is the harder you go for the swing the more likely you are to damage your body especially if your muscles are not prepared for the extra strain that swing will cause.  Strength exercises will enable your body to be prepared for the golf swing and hopefully avoid any nasty injury.

4. Think Positive and Don't Focus on Failure
Did you mess up a shot, miss that putt, lost the ball in the water?  Are you still thinking about these negatives and letting them effect your next hole?  Each shot you make has to have your undivided focus.  You need to get in a mindset which will allow you to forget the problems of the last hole and concentrate on the new task at hand.  Plan ahead how you want to pursue the next hole and visualize how good a shot you are going to make.  This is probably the hardest of the techniques as changing your body memory is a lot easier than your actual memory.

5. Eat Well
To work well, your body needs to eat well.  Anyone knows that a diet rich in fat and sugar, the  junk food diet is just plain bad for you. So if you are serious about getting to grips with your game more and the need to get healthier to do it then a diet rich in good quality carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables, lean meat and plenty of water will be the best bet.

Make these five tips into a habit and you will eventually see better results for your game. Be patient though It will take time, don't give up on them and go back to old ways otherwise you will keep on getting nowhere fast.
Good Luck
